Terms and Conditions of entry into
the BBC World Service E-mail Networks prize draw.
1. When you take out a new subscription to the BBC World Service Email Network, (which you can do by completing the registration form on the BBC World Service Email Networks registration page and then activating your subscription via the confirmation email), you will be entered into the free prize draw for a Muvo Slim MP3 Player ("the Draw").
2. Only one entry per person is allowed. Entrants must provide their name, email and full postal address which the BBC will only use for the purposes of administering the Draw. Entrants shall not be contacted by third parties as a result of submitting their details. See the BBC's privacy policy if you would like to know more. The Draw is promoted by the BBC.
3. All entries must be received before 2400 British Standard Time on 28th February 2007. The winning entry will be drawn at random the following day. The winner will be informed by email and the names and location of the winner shall be published in the BBC World Service Email Networks. No correspondence will be entered into.
4. The Draw is only open to new subscribers to the BBC World Service Email Networks. Employees or contractors of the BBC, any person involved in the running of the Draw, or their direct family members are excluded from the Draw.
5. The BBC reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering or to have tampered with the operation of the Draw or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
6. The BBC does not accept any liability for late, lost or illegible entries as a result of any technical failure of its website, any part of the internet, or otherwise. Proof of sending an entry shall not be accepted as proof of receipt of an entry.
7. No cash alternatives are offered. The description in any literature or medium of the prize offered in conjunction with the Draw is not binding and may be subject to change. The BBC reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of similar value or cancel the Draw at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
8. These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of England and the sole jurisdiction of the English courts. By entering the Draw the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them. |
